American Airlines Arena, home of the Miami Heat |
Florida is a wonderland for outdoor sports and recreation enthusiasts. All that sandy beach, the bays, inlets and estuaries, the swamps, lakes and rivers, the forests, the golf courses... It's going to take me a while to get this section of the website properly filled out... but it's not just about the three National Football League teams (Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jacksonville Jaguars) or the two Major League Baseball teams (Tampa Bay Rays, Florida Marlins) or the two National Hockey League teams (Florida Panthers, Tampa Bay Lightning) or the two National Basketball Association teams (Miami Heat, Orlando Magic) or even about all the MLB Spring Training teams that hang out in Florida for a few months every year. It's about all the opportunities the rest of us mortals have available to us, too. |
Dolphin Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins, Florida Marlins, Miami Hurricanes and the Orange Bowl ...and then there's the things us mere mortals like to do. |
PS: No, I didn't forget places like the Daytona International Speedway or the Homestead-Miami Speedway or Sebring International Raceway or the Walt Disney World Speedway or even the famous Streets of St. Petersburg... I just need to get out and make the rounds. |
