The old Wakulla County Courthouse in Crawfordville
Crawfordville is an unincorporated town in the middle of Wakulla County. Crawfordville is the Wakulla County seat, supposedly named for Dr. John L. Crawford, the local doctor many years ago. The western half of "town" is within the bounds of Apalachicola National Forest and Wakulla Springs State Park abuts the eastern side of town. St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge is just south of town.
